Termk privacy policy

What stays on your device

Semesters, courses, classes, assignments, exams, settings, and reminders are stored locally. Core planning and editing work without an account or a network connection. Termk does not include advertising, analytics, account synchronization, or remote backup.

When you use Add from PDF

You choose one original digital PDF from Android's document picker. Termk reads supported files on the device; the raw PDF is not uploaded. The file must be 1–5 pages, no larger than 5 MiB, and contain selectable text. Scanned or image-only PDFs are rejected.

To create suggestions, Termk may send a bounded selection of extracted schedule evidence to its Cloudflare Worker and processing providers. The request is made only after you choose PDF Add. The data is used to structure the selected classes, assignments, or exams and is not retained in Termk's database. Operational logs contain limited content-free metadata for service operation and abuse prevention; a short-lived salted installation counter expires within 48 hours.

You review, edit, or remove every suggestion. Nothing is saved until you confirm. Manual entry remains available.

Processing and security details

Cloudflare validates production PDF requests. OpenRouter and the configured model providers process the bounded evidence needed for the requested suggestions. Third-party provider handling may apply; Termk does not promise zero provider retention or provider training exclusions.

Production PDF requests use Google Play Integrity to help verify the installed app and bind the request. The temporary PDF is cleaned up after completion, failure, cancellation, recovery, or the next startup. Termk schedules reminders locally; notification permission and reminder availability are controlled on your device.

Your control

You can edit or delete your academic items and semesters in Termk. Uninstalling the app removes its local app data, subject to Android device-backup behavior. PDF Add is optional.
